Tarkett rewarded with the "Company in transition" prize of the 2015 Circular Economy Trophy in Paris, France
The 2015 Circular Economy Trophy, organized by the Circular Economy Institute, took place on September 15 at the Paris City Hall, during the Circular Economy General States of Greater Paris.
The second edition of this Trophy, which aimed to highlight exemplary innovative initiatives in circular economy and reward “game changer” companies, was open to all organizations within and outside. In the end, more than sixty applications were submitted. 8 companies were rewarded and Tarkett received the “Company in transition” prize. Myriam Tryjefaczka, Director – Sustainability and Public Affairs EMEA Division, represented Tarkett to receive the prize on stage.
Since 2011, we have applied the Cradle to Cradle® principles at each step of the product’s life: choice of materials, production, use and recycling. Thanks to this approach and aligned with our commitment for sustainability, we aim to contribute to the development of the circular economy. Our take-back program, ReStart, held particularly the attention of the jury.
