Buildings magazine selected Azrock’s Karim Kolors as one of
its top products in its annual awards program called Top 100 Products.
Commercial building products are judged by its
editorial staff on the following key criteria: innovation, functionality,
efficiency, and environmental friendliness.
Azrock’s Emerge eco-resilient tile won a citation of
Excellence in the Environmental Solutions category of the Product Innovation
Awards Program. Composed of limestone and a polymeric
blend composite, Emerge is a new eco-resilient commercial floor tile that
contains earth-friendly ingredients and requires minimal maintenance.
2007 - Tarkett commercial flooring gains Readers’ Choice
Sustainability award from Contract Floors magazine

* October 2008 - US Department of Energy awarded
Tarkett Commercial Tile with an energy saver award at the World Energy
Engineering Congress in Washington. The award
recognizes Tarkett’s reduction of energy usage at our manufacturing facility in
Houston, Texas. Energy Saver Awards are given to manufacturers who achieve more
than 7.5% total energy savings.
Tarkett Commercial Tile worked with a DOE Energy Expert to
assess key industrial process systems and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* 2007 - Tarkett Australia won
the Westpac Sustainable Business Award which recognises local businesses in the
region that are committed to sustainable business practices.
