As a Tarkett shareholder, you play a role in the decisions taken at the General Meeting. You also have access to information about life at the Company.
- Right to information: Regardless of the information directly available from the Service "Shareholders Relations", any shareholder may exercise its right to information by asking or consulting various documents concerning the running of the Company.
- Right to dividend: The dividend is the portion of the company’s net profit distributed to the shareholders. Its amount, proposed by the Management Board, is subject to shareholders’ approval at the Annual General Meeting. It is payable within nine months of the fiscal year-end. In case of dividends payment by Tarkett, there are paid at the beginning of July.
Dividends perceived from January 1, 2014 are subject to a 21% obligatory withholding levy (not in discharge). In addition, social taxes will be withheld at a rate of 15.5% for all dividends paid, whether or not they are eligible for the 40% deduction.
