The Executive Committee is the Group’s steering body. It includes: the Chief Executive Officer, the four Division Presidents (EMEA, Eastern Europe, North America and Sports), and five functional Vice-Presidents (Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Research Innovation & Environment, Legal).
Michel Giannuzzi – Chief Executive Officer
Michel was appointed Tarkett Chief Executive Officer of Tarkett in September 2007. He has spent his entire career in various industries – beginning in 1988 with Michelin. From his initial diverse industrial responsibilities in France and the United Kingdom, he went on to manage a tire production unit using very innovative technologies before taking on the responsibility of reengineering the supply chain in Europe and becoming CEO of Michelin Japan. In 2001, he joined the Valeo Group as Vice President and member of the Executive Committee, successively in charge of the global Electrical Systems and Wiper Systems businesses. Mr. Giannuzzi is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Harvard Business School.
Jeff Buttitta - President Tarkett North America
Jeff Buttitta, 66, American, is the President of the Group’s North America division. Previously, he was the General Manager of Johnsonite from 1990 until its acquisition by the Group in 2005. He holds an accounting degree from Baldwin Wallace College (United States).
Eric Daliere – President Tarkett Sports
Eric Daliere, 46, American, has been the President of the Tarkett Sports division since 2009. Previously, he spent ten years working on complex projects for KKR Capstone, after having started with the Boston Consulting Group. He received an M.B.A from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
Slavoljub Martinovic – President Tarkett Eastern Europe
Slavoljub Martinovic, 43, Serbian, has been President of the Group’s Eastern Europe division since January 2013. Previously, he worked for Sintelon from 1996 until its acquisition by the Group in 2002. He holds a degree from the Novi Sad Technological Faculty.
Remco Teulings - President Tarkett EMEA
Remco Teulings, 43, Dutch, has been president of the EMEA division since December 2012. He was the Marketing Director, and then the General Manager of Central Europe for Knauf Insulation from 2006 to 2012. He received a Masters in sociology from the University of Amsterdam, a Bachelor’s degree in economics and an M.B.A from the Asian Institute of Technology.

Fabrice Barthélemy – Chief Financial Officer
Fabrice Barthélemy joined Tarkett as Chief Financial Officer in 2008. He started his career as an industrial controller with Safran and joined Valeo in 1995 as financial controller of a division in the United Kingdom. From 2000 to 2003, he helped turn around Valeo’s Lighting Division in France, then becoming financial director of Valeo Connective Systems and, subsequently, financial director of Valeo Wiper Systems. Mr. Barthélemy is a graduate of ESCP-Europe.
Vincent Lecerf – EVP Group Human Resources
Vincent Lecerf joined Tarkett in 2008. Mr. Lecerf has spent most of his professional career in human resources management. Before joining Tarkett, he was director of human resources of the Norbert Dentressangle group. Prior to that, Mr. Lecerf held various human resources roles within companies such as Rhodia, Poclain, Hydraulics and Valeo. Mr. Lecerf is a graduate of EDHEC and has a post-graduate diploma in organizational sociology from Paris Dauphine.
Anne-Christine Ayed – EVP Research, Innovation and Environment
Anne-Christine Ayed, 52, French-Canadian, is the Director of Research Innovation & Environment, a position she has held since 2009. Previously, she held various managerial and R&D positions with Dow Chemicals in Switzerland, Germany and the United States. She has a doctorate in polymer chemistry.
Antoine Prévost – EVP Operations
Antoine Prévost, 43, French, is the Director of Operations, a position he has held since 2011. He held different managerial positions with Vallourec between 1995 and 2011. He holds a degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris.
Stéphanie Couture – Group General Counsel
Stéphanie Couture, 44, Canadian, is the Group General Counsel and has been with the Group since 2000. She was previously a lawyer in the civil and administrative courts of Canada and was inhouse counsel for Unibroue. She holds a degree from the University of Montréal and has been a member of the Quebec bar since 1993.
Strong support and commitment of our shareholders
Tarkett’s main shareholders are the Deconinck Family (50,1%) and KKR International Flooring 2 S.àr.l., a limited liability company owned by funds managed or advised by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P (18,9%) and a public float of 28,7%. The Group enjoys a stable financial base and shareholders who support its profitable growth strategy.
Following the IPO on November 22, 2013 the Supervisory Board (“Conseil de Surveillance”) is composed of nine members:
- 4 representatives of the Deconinck family: Didier Deconinck, Bernard-André Deconinck, Eric Deconinck, Jean-Philippe Delsol,
- 2 representatives of KKR: Jacques Garaїalde, Josselin de Roquemaurel,
- 3 independent members: Sonia Bonnet-Bernard, Gérard Buffière, Françoise Leroy.
It is presided by Didier Deconinck; its vice-president is Jacques Garaïalde for KKR. The board members meet once a month to review with the management the group’s financial performance as well as operational and strategic initiatives.
